Nitro 2025 Josh Lesniewski commits to Depauw University

By Michael Adkins

Big time players earn big time opportunities! Josh Lesniewski in our 2025 class has earned an opportunity to further his education and baseball career at the next level. Lesniewski has officially committed to Depauw University, an NCAA Division III institution in Greencastle, Indiana that competes in the North Coast Athletic Conference. Lesniewski, the son of Scott and Amy Lesniewski, garnered the attention of multiple schools after strong showings on the mound in the spring and summer of 2024. Lesniewski is a left-handed pitcher that attends Hamilton Southeastern High School in Fishers, Indiana. As a Junior at Hamilton Southeastern, Lesniewski proved through his production that he has what it takes to compete at the next level. In 40.2 innings of work, Lesniewski racked up 36 strikeouts and opposing hitters batted an average of only .217 against him. Lesniewski was consistently in the lineup as he was able to pound the strike zone and keep opposing hitters guessing at the plate. Lesniewski will be one to watch this spring as he looks to finish his prep school career as one of the top pitchers in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference. In addition to Lesniewski’s pitching talents, he is also one of the top scholars in our 2025 class with an impressive 3.97 GPA. Lesniewski is destined for greatness on the field and in the classroom and his continued upward trajectory will set him up for success at Depauw University after his high school career comes to a close. Congratulations to the Lesniewski’s!
