Head Coach's info

John Babcock

Coach John Babcock is excited about joining the Indiana Nitro program for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.  For the last three seasons,  Coach Babcock was both a head coach and assistant with the Fishers Express travel program.  He is originally from Peoria, IL, and graduated from Richwoods High School as a two-year varsity letter winner in both baseball and football.  Coach Babcock’s goal is to build a team-first culture and focus on player development while his team improves their baseball skills throughout the season.  He is a graduate of The University of Iowa and resides in Fishers with his wife, Kara, and two children, Everett (9) and Lyla (7).
