Nitro 2023 1B Evan Rainey has made his college choice. The left-handed power bat from Lafayette Jeff High School will continue his academic and athletic career at William Woods University, an NAIA school in Fulton, Missouri. The Owls finished 30-18 last season, including a solid 14-7 record in the American Midwest Conference. Rainey, a senior with a 3.73 GPA will study Sports Management at WWU. Evan is the son of Jason and Michelle Rainey.
