Our talented 2025 class continues to pump out college commits as our very own Grant Gearhart will be extending his studies and baseball career at the next level! Gearhart will be furthering his playing career at Spalding University, an NCAA Division III institution in Louisville, Kentucky that competes in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Matt Downes, the Head Coach at Spalding University, loves the upside that Gearhart possesses. As a right-handed pitcher, Gearhart is able to command the zone and throw three pitches consistently for strikes. Gearhart’s mid-80’s fastball, combined with a curveball and slider that drop out of the zone, creates inconsistent looks that poses a real challenge for opposing hitters. Gearhart has been one of the hardest workers in our 2025 class, which will allow him to flourish as a Senior this Spring at Fishers High School and in college at Spalding University. Gearhart, the son of Chuck and Kristin Gearhart, is very impressive in the classroom as well. At Fishers High School, Gearhart currently holds an outstanding 3.7 cumulative GPA. Gearhart will look to build on his strong academic achievements in college as he intends to earn a degree in Finance while competing on the diamond for the Golden Eagles. We love promoting well-rounded student athletes, and Gearhart certainly upholds his end on the diamond and in the classroom. Gearhart’s best days of baseball are ahead of him and we look forward to watching him have a big senior season this coming spring! Congratulations!
