Grace college continues to fill their 2025 recruiting class with Indiana Nitro gamechangers! Mayo Fernandez of Fishers High School will be furthering his studies and baseball career at Grace College, a Christian-based NAIA level institution in Winona Lake, Indiana. Not only will Fernandez soon be competing in one of the top NAIA baseball conferences in the Midwest, he will be competing at the same college with Indiana Nitro teammates Luke Cherry and Tyler Sarver! Fernandez, the son of Angela and Jose Fernandez, is projected to be a key piece in the middle infield for Head Coach Matthew Cherry this spring at Fishers High School. After logging 26 games as a Junior, Fernandez will be called upon to step up as Fishers looks to be a dominant force in a highly-talented Hoosier Crossroads Conference. In addition to his talents on the diamond, Fernandez has been just as impressive in the classroom as he currently carries a 3.66 cumulative GPA. It is no secret as to why Grace College loves a player like Fernandez, as he simply gets it done on the field and in the classroom. We are stoked to witness a big senior season from Fernandez this coming spring before he begins his journey in the collegiate ranks at Grace College in the fall of 2025. Congratulations to the Fernandez family!
