Coach Slama has been coaching youth sports for over 8 years, both as a Head and Assistant Coach for travel baseball. As Head Coach his teams have won multiple tournaments and have grown as players on and off the field. Coach Slama’s goal is to support his team through positive reinforcement and to focus on his players’ strengths. A graduate of Ball State University, Coach Slama was a multi-sport collegiate athlete and has worked in the Healthcare/Biotechnology field for over 20 years. He is a Zionsville native and currently lives in Carmel with his wife, Dana, and their two sons – both of whom are Nitro players.
