Coach Zach C. is entering his 23rd year of coaching baseball and his third season with Indiana Nitro. He brings a wealth of experience across all levels of the game, having coached three years at Huntington University and Decatur Central High School, and over a decade in youth baseball.
As a player, Coach Zach was a three-year varsity starter at Carroll High School (Fort Wayne), where he earned All-Conference and All-Area honors as a catcher in 2004. That same year, his team captured Sectional and Regional titles before finishing as Semi-State Runner-Up. He went on to be a four-year starting catcher at Huntington University. In addition to his coaching and collegiate playing experience, Zach completed a 12-year career in Men’s Fastpitch Softball, where he was named MVP in two state tournaments and competed in two National Championships. He is an expert in the field of Mental & Sports Psychology. He currently resides in Danville, IN with his wife Jennifer and their 5 children.
