Head Coach's info

Tyler Rubasky

The Pennsylvania native began his coaching career by serving as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Waynesburg University. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Exercise Science, Wellness and Physiology in 2016 and began his coaching stint in 2017. He went on to obtain his Masters of Science degree in Coaching and Sport Education from West Virginia University in May of 2018.

Rubasky then moved on to assistant coaching duties with Franklin College in the 2019 and 2020 baseball seasons. In 2021, he was tabbed to be an assistant coach at Davis & Elkins College. He has continued his work with catchers at these programs and expanded his role with the addition of outfielders and instructed hitters for the Senators.

Along with his experience in collegiate athletics, Rubasky has many years of coaching high and middle school boys in the game of baseball as well. He served as head coach for three different youth organizations, including the 14u Pony League World Series Host Team, Indiana Elite 16u Team and Pittsburgh Outlaws 14u Team.
