Michael Oaf
Coach Oaf will be going into his 11th year coaching and 3rd year with
the Indiana Nitro Organization. He attended Franklin Central High
School where he would play baseball, soccer, and track and field. Upon
graduation he would go on to serve his country in the Army for 8 years
before returning back to Indiana. Coach Oaf believes in using core
values learned in the military in the game of baseball such as
Respect, Integrity, and Personal Courage. He believes in prioritizing
development of skills, fundamentals, Baseball IQ, and passion for the
game primarily at an early age. Development of players will always be
prioritized over winning every game. Coach Oaf’s goal is to develop
young players in such a way that they can associate their hard work
and determination to reach their highest potential on the field and
off the field in any area of life. Coach Oaf currently works full-time
for DEEM LLC as a Project Manager/Director of VRF in the Indianapolis
area. He currently resides in Westfield, IN with his Wife Nichole 2
